Water conditions: Perfect for the Fly

May has started of with the river in fine order. Levels are now perfect for the fly with fish running on a daily basis. With several fish caught since the start of the month. Only low rod effort are accounting for not having more fish caught. Fish are being caught on floating/sinktip lines from small half inch tubes to 6 inch Monkeys. I lost 2 Salmon on Sunday on a Kola Monkey fished of a Floating shooting head/med sink poly. First fish was lost at the net and the second after a couple of minutes - there's always next time !!
