"...2- 3 springers being taken everyday..."

As I write this it is pouring rain here in Cork, which will give rise to good water levels in the Lee & Blackwater over the coming week if not full blown floods ! Here in Cork you will often hear it said that from Patricks day weekend, you will be in with a good chance of a Springer and historically this is true with the main runs normally starting this week, so with good water levels get out and give it a try ! Having been down in Kerry yesterday I can state that all the rivers are in fine condition such as the Lower Caragh & River Laune. Indeed the Caragh sys. is fishing very well at the moment with 2- 3 springers being taken everyday at the moment.
