One to Watch

With some heavy showers forecast over the next few days, the Kerry Blackwater is the river to watch. Heavy showers in the Kerry region , particularly around Kenmare should ensure a spate or two over the coming days. Keep an eye on the forecast and should rain fall be sure to give it a go. Full & half day permits are available and even a few hours of an evening can be very productive with a spate running down. We still need alot more rain than is forecast to give us a good flood in the larger rivers such as the Munster Blackwater, Rivers Lee & Laune. Smaller spate rivers such as the Kerry Blackwater & the Sneem river offer the best chance of sport.
