"...sealiced fish of 12lbs this morning..."

With high water on the Lee for the last three days, fishing is now excellent and should give great sport for the last week of the season. The water level is about two foot above normal full generating cycle. High water spinning tactics with heavy flying - C's etc are a must. Having fished myself yesterday evening/today on beat one woodside, I had seven fish to the bank and met as many again. Mostly coloured fish though I had one sealiced fish of 12lbs this morning - a hen fish that was duely returned. condtions are now excellent for the closing week, so make the most of it ! Tightlines.
