"... too high for heavy spinning even...."

Water levels on the Lee & Munster Blackwater are currently un-fishable due to more heavy rain. The river Lee is currently one meter above normal highwater levels which makes it too high for heavy spinning even. Conditions on the Blackwater are pretty much the same - so much for this being a dry week. Prospects in Kerry should be somewhat better if not excellent. Water levels on the Laune should be well up on last week, beat one on Muckross and Lough Leane should provide good fishing at the moment. The Lower Carragh river should also be at a fishable height and is alway's a good bet at this time of year. I'll be back down in Kerry for the weekend, fishing the Laune and Carragh Lake, let you know how we get on. Tightlines.
