Sexual dimorphisme:Male fish acquire a kype and take on more pronounced colours with the spots becoming larger and more vivid, as the spawning season approaches. The flanks and stomack can become a vivid yellow/gold colour.
Comments:Very widespread species accross northern and southern hemispheres.

Fly-fishing probably being one of the most popular way to catch the Brown Trout on most rivers and lakes.
Try fishing baitfish/fry imitations for the larger fish at the start of the season and using the same patterns on Summer nights.
