Good numbers of fish running the River Lee

Water conditions: normal summer level with some generating(mid water) taking place.
Weather: windy condtions with a mix of sun & showers

Good numbers of Grilse with some larger Salmon have been reported coming off the tides this week particularly off the tides late Monday and early Tuesday. These fish were travelling quickly though some were taken of the weir before they headed for the upper beats around inniscarra, when high water from generating on Wednesday encouaged the fish to move. Good sport can be expected for the next couple of weeks, or until the weather becomes fine again.
